Technical stuff: The piece was drawn in two sections, with the main animal in graphite using a Koh-i-noor .3mm pencil, while the background was drawn with a Pigma Micron 005 pen, then enlarged by 200x (or so) (which is why the line seems thicker). They were merged on tow separate layers and I had to somewhat modify the line-art to fit, as it is actually the top layer.
