Desert Bird, Flensed by Qilong Desert Bird, Flensed by Qilong
The mononykine alvarezsaur Shuvuuia deserti.

Once again, this is a muscle study, it is not meant to depict every surface muscle, and in fact is meant to expose some features for the sake of art. I have yet to do a thorough attempt at a complete muscle study, as I itch to do it "correctly."

I'd go with less muscular...The shins look a bit too thick to me. This is one of those lithe tiny animals where minimalist works best. But that's just me...

Quite possible. However, minimalistic muscle reconstruction may not be accurate. When it comes to the legs, I am trying somewhat to emphasize large running muscles of the lower legs, and how these animals have very muscular legs, regardless of size.

Thanks. I still need to fix it, or make a better one.
