Congrats on the paper, Banguela (brilliant name, by the way) was a big surprise!
Very nice illustration - are those knob-like structures on the lower jaw supported by evidence or are they just a speculative addition?

Congrats on this great discovery!  I read your blog post about it, very interesting implications this fossil has.

Any thoughts on how it fed?  Maybe like an Anastomus stork, assuming it had a shellfish diet like its relatives.

I actually have no clue what it would have preferred. Diet is a tricky thing when it comes to fossils.
